May 9, 2024 As a mom of adult with Autism I had been curious about the coffee shop I heard about that was also a job skills program. While I don't think the program is the right fit for my son I do think it's a great resource. I'm happy to pass the information on to my readers. I have visited Riverside Coffee Shop a few times in the last year. I feel it's a compassionate program. I love that it is not just a inviting coffeeshop and a great workspace but also I'm also very pleased to see more differently abled training centers.
The person that took my order was a little unsure but got it right the first time. The mocha latta I ordered was just right. Now that the shop has extended hours. I'm sure I will be back.
Reading the flyer I was given "ABA Next Steps provides a nocational training program that promotes community inclusion and social interaction utilizing the coffee shop as a teaching platform."
